Ben Underwood – Inspiration Against the Odds
Posted on September 29th, 2011 No commentsImagine a person with no eyes who lives his life to the fullest as if he can see. That person is Ben Underwood. At 3 years old, he lost his eyes to cancer; but his mother repeatedly reminded him of the abilities that he had left. Ben took his mother’s positive outlook to a new level. “I don’t consider myself blind,” he boasts.
Ben taught himself to see with sound by using echolocation. Bike riding, skating, book writing, basketball, video games, school, surfing, running up and down the stairs—he does it all. And Ben does not use a guide dog or a cane.

The Ant philosophy – Jim Rohn
Posted on September 23rd, 2011 No commentsThe ant philosophy is one of persistence and determination. There is no event that will stop the ant. It will keep going until it dies. Ants – they never quit! Try and stop them, and they will look for another way. They will climb up, clumb under, climb around. They never quit looking for a way. If they are headed somewhere, they will get there. Never quit looking for where you are supposed to go.

Zig Ziglar – Evaluate Where You Are
Posted on August 24th, 2011 No commentsZig Ziglar believes that too often people don’t sit back and evaluate where are they at in terms of getting what they want out of life. In order to have success in life, Ziglar stresses that we must strive for balance. Too often, people assume that wealth is the number one indication of a successful person when, in fact, in today’s world wealth hangs by a thread if a person lacks security. Security is affected by health and peace of mind, which in turn can affect friendship and family relations. Success is not just about wealth.
